1)Swami hoped that with this his father would be made to see why he must avoid school for the day.
= স্বামী আশা করেছিল যে এবার তার বাবা হয়তো বুঝতে পারবে কেন সে সেই দিন বিদ্যালয়ে যাওয়া এড়িয়ে যাচ্ছে ।
2)But father’s behaviour took an unexpected turn.
= কিন্তু বাবার ব্যবহার অপ্রত্যাশিত ভাবে মোড় নিল ।।
3)He proposed to send a letter with Swami to the headmaster
= তিনি প্রস্তাব দিলেন স্বামীকে দিয়ে প্রধানশিক্ষককে একটি চিঠি পাঠানোর ।।
4)No amount of protest from Swami would make him change his mind.
= স্বামীর কোন রকম প্রতিবাদ তার চিন্তা / মনস্থির করাকে পাল্টাতে পারবে না ।।
5) By the time Swami was ready to leave for school, father had composed a long letter to the headmaster.
= ইতিমধ্যে স্বামী বিদ্যালয়ে যাবার জন্য প্রস্তুত হয়েছিল, বাবা প্রধান শিক্ষককে উদ্দেশ্য করে একটি লম্বা /দীর্ঘ চিঠি লিখেছিলেন ।।
6)He put it in an envelope and sealed it.
= তিনি এটিকে একটি খামের মধ্যে পুরেছিলেন এবং সুরক্ষিতভাবে বন্ধ করেছিলেন ।
7) “What have you written, Father?” Swami asked apprehensively.
=স্বামী শঙ্কিতভাবে জিজ্ঞাসাকরেছিল , “ তুমি কি লিখেছ বাবা ? ”

= তোমার জন্য কিছু না ।।
9)Give it to your headmaster and go to your class”.
= এটা তোমার প্রধানশিক্ষককে দেবে এবং ক্লাসে চলে যাবে ।।

= তুমি কি আমাদের শিক্ষক স্যামুয়েলের সম্পর্কে কিছু লিখেছ ?
